I have a passion for creating harmony amongst organic landscapes and my subjects, therefore all my portraiture sessions are shot outdoors.
Senior Portraits
High school senior portraits are my most frequently booked sessions. These sessions typically last between 45 minutes to an hour and are shot outside in natural lighting. Because I work with the sun when it comes to lighting, it's best to schedule these sessions a couple hours before sunset or in the early morning. The seniors I photograph can have up to three wardrobe changes. Because most high school seniors aren't accustomed to having an entire photo shoot focused on them; I try to make their shoot as comfortable and as fun as possible. I also realize many seniors don't know what to do with their hands, legs and facial expressions, etc during shoots, so I provide them direction as to what I am looking for when it comes to posing.

Pet Photography
When it comes to animals, I pretty much love them all. While dogs and cats have been the most common types of pets I've photographed, I've also photographed birds, rodents, reptiles and horses! As a person who believes pets are part of the family, I know how much a great photo of an animal companion is cherished for life. If you have an animal that has to be photographed indoors, it is important to hold the photoshoot in a room with windows that offer a good amount of natural lighting.
The pet sessions I offer start at $125.00.
Family Photography
I love seeing the unique, warm dynamics between family members. The way they make each other smile and laugh. The natural light they bring out in one another. Although there are multiple people to organize in the frame, a lot of pressure is lifted off of me as a photographer because of the organic, warm connections between family members. After I arrange individuals where I want them to be, the magic of love and warmth in the family takes over and I’m simply an observer capturing these beautiful moments.

Portraiture Photography
This broad section is meant to encompass the many different directions individual portraiture can be taken in. I have had clients contact me about photoshoots with a theme in mind, such as a recreation of some of the Disney Princess characters. I did a photoshoot that centered around a woman's 30th birthday; I took photos of her with balloons, a bottle of wine and gifts at a local park. This section also applies to individuals who just want to have a shoot for fun and to get some updated photographs of themselves.
These sessions can be hard to quote a price on until I know the details of what individuals are looking for, so I am asking those interested to send me a message with all the details.
Powwow Photography
I began photographing powwows in 2012. One of my first assignments as an intern for Oneida Nation’s newspaper, Kalihwisaks, was to photograph Oneida’s annual powwow. Since then I have photographed powwows as a hobby. It’s something I enjoy doing. In 2022, I started exploring powwows outside of Oneida Nation. I plan to keep photographing powwows as it brings me joy and helps keep me connected to my indigenous roots.
I am open to freelance projects regarding outdoor powwow photography in Wisconsin or the surrounding states. To me, a photograph is so much more than an instance in time; it's a captor of intimate, awe-inspiring moments. The world and all its creatures evolve every second of every day. Images allow us to see where we have been and can shed some insight on where we're going.
